Five Element Acupressure

Five Element Acupressure is a Taoist system developed in Japan but based on classical Chinese medicine. It makes use of a series of 'channels' (known as meridians in the West) that transport a form of energy called QI (pronounced chee) around the body.

The client lies face-up on a massage table while the therapist(s) lightly holds a number of points on these channels in an unconditional manner in order to restore balance and harmony within the recipient's system.

Both one-therapist and two-therapist sessions are available.

· With a single therapist each side of the body is addressed separately, followed by a 'balancing' performed at the head of the client.

· Using two therapists, a far more effective session is experienced due to the synergy produced by the interaction between therapists.

Also offered is a combined Five Element Acupressure and Sacred Vibraic Sound Therapy session.

FIVE ELEMENT CLEARING

A Five Element Clearing is a facilitated unconditional sacred release ceremony based on Five Element theory originating in Northern China. Each of the five elements is actually a state of transition in an endless yet complete cycle. For any individual there is a state of idiosyncrasy which is ideally in a state of balance.

For thousands of years many cultures have developed means to explore our inherent relationship with the planet Earth at all levels from the molecular micro to the physical macro. The Taoists of Northern China, through many centuries of observation, developed the theory of five elements and the relationship to the cosmology of Man on Earth under Heaven. Later they developed a range of techniques to apply this knowledge in an unconditional yet philosophical manner.

· One's reactions to life experiences can result in various layered states of imbalance.

· One's state of imbalance of the body-mind dynamic may be excessive or deficient in one or more elements.

· One's state of imbalance may distort ones perceptions of life thus creating an experience of being 'stuck'.

· This experience of being stuck is actually a pattern that keeps repeating itself catabolically, resulting in a deeper and increasingly destructive and compressive state.

· Prior to a clearing, the recipient will be invited to identify and formalize that from which they desire to be liberated.

· The Five Element Clearing begins with the client lying fully clothed, face-up on a massage table. The client will then receive a simple but effective Jin Shin Balance. This may assist the client in being better prepared for the actual ceremony which follows.

· An optional Five Element Preparation Session is also available should the recipient feel that they require additional assistance in formalizing their intent for the Five Element Clearing. This involves a one- or two-therapist Jin Shin session.
